The NAFBM Sponsored VITA Tax Preparation Team await their scheduled Veteran and dependent clients for free tax preparations inside the Museum.
This tax service, sanctioned by the IRS, will continue through April 8th.

The Norton AFB Museum took another vital step towards their continuous improvement initiative with the installation of safety hand rails to assist the guests of the Museum as they enter and exit the Museum.

The Norton AFB Museum will celebrate their 1st year of being open to the public on March 22, 2014. Additionally, the Museum will also recognize the anniversary of Norton AFB being closed for 20 years. The Museum is planning an anniversary celebration from 11:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M. and is looking for sponsors and supporters to help make this event memorable. The Norton AFB Museum continues to reach out to the veteran community by sponsoring the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) service to veterans who need assistance with filing their yearly income tax. The VITA service is also approved by the IRS to assist next of kin of recent service members killed in action. This no cost service is sponsored by the NAFBM at the Museum each Tuesday morning through April 8, 2014. For appointments please call Mr. Gaspar Diaz @ (951) 316-3330.

March 2014 will mark 20 years Norton AFB will have been closed. Also March 2014 will be the 1st Anniversary of the Norton AFB Museum being open to the public. Watch this site for upcoming event details commemorating Norton AFB and celebrating the Norton AFB Museum opening. Details will soon be posted.

April 2014, the Museum will feature our 4th Evening At The Museum with guest presenter Mr. Theodore Venturini, USAF / McDonald Douglas / Boeing, Flight Test Loadmaster. Watch this site for upcoming specific dates, details and times soon to be posted.

Continuous Improvement Continues at the Memorial

Another proud moment for the Norton AFB Museum and 63rd / 445th Norton Veterans Group. A team of volunteers work to prepare and primer the new guardrails installed at the Memorial by the JCS Welding Company, a staunch supporter of the Memorial and Museum.
